What is this Apprentice Program?
The LunarTech DevOps Engineering Apprentice Program is a structured, hands-on learning experience designed for aspiring infrastructure and platform engineers who want to build, automate, and scale production-grade systems in AI-driven environments.
This program combines applied DevOps practice with structured education through LunarTech Academy, while contributing directly to real-world products developed across LunarTech’s ecosystem. Apprentices support live platforms across education, healthcare, construction, energy, telecommunications, and other industry solutions developed through LunarTech Labs.
You will work alongside software engineers, AI engineers, and system architects to design, automate, and maintain scalable infrastructure that powers intelligent applications. The program emphasizes infrastructure as code, CI/CD systems, containerization, reliability engineering, and cloud-native architectures.
This apprenticeship is designed to shape DevOps engineers who understand not just system administration — but how to build resilient, automated infrastructure that supports AI-powered platforms at scale.

Program Duration & Conditions
- Location: Armenia (Remote/Hybrid collaboration model)
- Duration: 6 or 12 months (depending on candidate background and experience level)
- Compensation: Unpaid apprenticeship
- Includes: LunarTech Academy Scholarship + structured mentorship
- Language Requirement: Minimum B1 English proficiency (international team across multiple nationalities and continents)
- Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
This program is designed for disciplined, detail-oriented individuals who want to operate in a structured, high-performance, international engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows
- Support CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment automation
- Contribute to containerized deployment environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Perform Linux system administration and server configuration tasks
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and scalability
- Participate in infrastructure planning, technical discussions, and system reviews
- Apply structured engineering practices to enhance operational resilience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Familiarity with Linux system administration
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software development workflows
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and structured working approach
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Minimum B1 level English proficiency (required for international collaboration)
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
